Hi everyone,

I have done below-mentioned courses, can you please let me know what can I expect in my WES evaluation?

1. B.Tech - Electronics and Communication: Punjab Technical University - 4 years, regular course
2. PGDBA - Operations Management, Symbiosis Center for distance learning, 2 years distance education course.


Can you please let me know, what can be leveraged from WES evaluation?

a) Bachelors 4 years degree only.
b) two or more degrees or diploma, out of which one is a 3 degree course
c) masters degree


I have my transcripts ready to be mailed to WES. But, still a little curious to know what can be expected as next.

I have done an MBA from International Telematic University - Italy (distance learning).

I have forwarded my documents for eca to iqas and in application form in last country of education I have mentioned Italy as degree is issued from Italy. However I have done it online from my home country which is not italy.

Is it okay to mention Italy in last country of education as degree is issued from there?

Hi Shernell, MMS will be considered as Masters degree in Canada. I have done MMS from Mumbai too, WES recognized it as Masters Degree

One quick question guys. If someone has done part-time MBA from the university of Mumbai? Will it be considered as Masters Degree in Canada? If not will the person get any additional points for his CRS score?

I have done regular B.Tech (4 years) and then PGDBA (2 years distance education) from SCDL. I have submitted my WES application. I might get result by Feb 1st Week.

If your university name is "University of Mumbai" then it is a good news for you, this is listed in WES. I would request you to contact them before submitting your application.

quite frankly, SCDL is not listed in WES. They have a mention of "Symbiosis International Education Centre", if this is your university then definitely you can get WES evaluation for your education. Would suggest to go through https://applications.wes.org/ca/degree-equivalency-tool/poe.asp tool and evaluate yourself before applying, you will get the results at the same time.

I've further completed my MBA from IMT Ghaziabad (part time), just unsure what all documents should i send 12+Grad+Post graduation or only grad+post graduation?
