Citizenship application in August 2017

Morning Folks,

I checked my status on Wednesday morning January 10, 2018 and they added the 5th line to appear and write the citizenship test on January 23, 2018 at 7:45 AM in Mississauga location and I got the notice by the mail last Thursday, the letter dated on January 09, 2018 and now I am preparing my self for the test and reading and reviewing the book "Discover Canada".

Admin please update my information in the list.

hey bro there ,, I am just wondering ,, how did you push the CIC ,, please tell me ,, Montreal Office here not moving ,, and yesterday call center guy told me that my file looks so normal ,, nothing to worry about ,, he liked it ,, he loved it ,, but we are just waiting the officer to look back to my file to set up the following step ,, which is the test ,, very classic

I got my test on January, 8th with interview on Scarborough office but my status is still in process and wait for changing to DM, maybe it will be take longer in my local office.

Hi everyone,

Looks like Mississauga Applicants suffer the most from this long waiting. Someone suggested before to proceed with a petition raising a concern on the delay for Mississauga applicants but he didn't proceed with it. If you support it, I will start, proceed and file the petition. Please let me know.

Most of August applicants have been penalized two times as a result of the 4 years rules and again with the backlogs after coming back to 3 years rules.

I was reading the September applicants sheet and some applicants reached at the oath stage. This is very unfair!

My timeline :

... The CIC office required me to bring all my original documents that support my citizenship application (as listed in the document checklist in the citizenship application form).

Hey guys,
Just checked the link below and I see Jan26th ceremony added for scarborough

However, when checking Mississauga office I see a big number of ceremonies added for February already whereas nothing added for scarborough!!
I am wondering since they send applicants to scarborough from Mississauga office why they dont do the opposite way now since they have much more ceremonies!!! lol

Hi Elise 72, Hope you re' doing very well. Do you have any update over your Oath letter? Mine status was changed to DM in November and it 's been two months nothing is on my end. My wife got cleared the test on last Thursday and her status has also been changed to DM on Friday morning.
