hello , I never got fingerprint , just in process since oct 20 , and then silent mode .... nothing , nothing .... guys pls update same issue , montreal office , app sent 16 aug , delivered 18 aug , inprocess since oct 20 , Montreal office .

Guys just to give you timeline right now, mine was in process since July 6th and I heard nothing till December 20th. But my test was on Jan 9th and oath on 8th February.
Point being, some applicants are being asked to do test early and then wait for ages to get oath, while others wait ages for test but oath is quick... All the best with your applications!

Same here, I applied from Montreal, App sent AUG21, received AUG 23, notification, Oct 10, In process, OCT 23, and since then: Silence Radio hope next weeks things willl be moving for Montreal office, seems to be the slowest

Hey guys Oatmeal here, sorry for the delay that i did not come online for a while.

I am an applicant for citizenship from august had my decision made on 22nd December 2017 after my test on 19th dec 2017 , and got invitation for Oath ceremony 10th Jan 2018 for 12 February 2018. The weird thing is they i have not received the official notice yet, as they had sent me on my email . I checked all my emails but nothing is there. I called cic agent, he told me to show up at the ceremony with required documents. Hope for the best, and all the best for other applicants.

Almost same timeline with exactly same test date Nov 29 and waiting for oath as well. We have to be patient.

I would like to encourage everyone yet to take the test.... just read the book and do some online questions.... the test is very easy and it is common sense.

For all those waiting for Oath invite, please worry not, your time is coming. We are not in control of the Citizenship process and invites. The only thing we can do is to be positive, hopeful and be thankful. Patience is a virtue.

I have appeared for my test and interview today at Scarborough office.
Passed the test and the interview was for 5 minutes (checking original documents).
Was told the Oath invite could take upto 12 months after the application was received, but in most of the cases it takes 6-8 weeks from the interview date.

All originals were verified and few question on what type of work i do and history of the organization.
Officer said i passed test and will review application one more time and oath letter will be sent.

Is reviewing application again is a common line they say after interview?? just curious

Were you there for the 8:30 AM test? My test was at 8:30 AM.
Interview was at around 9:15

Thank god. Test passed:18/20.
