I hv applied on 29th Nov for visitor visa through kolkatta vfs ,still waiting for any update as the last update was on 30th Nov that ur application is being processed at Canada visa office,New Delhi.what should I do as I have to attend a function on 20th jan 2018?

I have applied TRV online on 26th november, , I got the confirmation message same day, Till date nothing is updated. I have applied through online, so don't know where my file would be. We (me & my husband) applied for my niece 16th birthday party on 16th december, BUt losing hope now. Does anyone applied through online and get approval or refusal result?

I got passport request 2 days ago.I sent case specific enquiry 2-3 days ago before i receive PP request.

I am from punjab, india. I filed my visitor visa application on 18th november 2017. But i have not received any decision so far. I received an email on 18th december that my file is in progress. On 27th november, i emailed delhi office about the status of my file. They replied on 28th that they will contact me shortly. Guys, please tell me is it normal ? Should I wait more. It been already 54-55 days. Please reply.

Yes, this is pretty normal for TRV applications now a days.
Mr moody is waiting from 6 months, i got decision in 110 days. It will be good if you keep on waiting v patiently.
Keep tracking your application om GC id too.
