Is this thread dead? I read through the posts from a few years back. Can you guys share your processing times? I'm currently in the process of filling out the sponsorship application with my husband (outland). He's in Nairobi but a Somali national and I'm a Canadian by birth.

Really hoping some Somalis share their experiences...

Hey I'm doing the same things we will send our application this Friday I couldn't find any Somalis to ask them about there's experience. My husband is Canadian and I'm Somali living in UAE

nothing left then idk if they will request the passport ! I heard that the Canadian government sees the Somali passport as invalid document so they will not stamp the visa on it ! Idk if it is true not not ?
