Happy new year everyone. I’ve been MIA trying to settle in. I see AVO has been slow recently but I don’t think there is any cause for alarm. It’s possible that many often officers are on vacation. I just wanted to stop bt to encourage everyone to keep faith. Your journey will come to an end before you know it. In the meantime, start preparing yourself for life over here so you don’t waste precious time after you move trying to figure out your plans. Have a great day guys.

Just got my passport delivered to me in Lagos. I actually redirected it to Lagos from Abuja yesterday. And they delivered it just now.. Thanks be to God for everything. Authorized them to pick up on the 9th of January and it got delivered today

Many officers probably took vacations during the holiday season but the office wasn't closed.

There are others who submitted their medicals earlier than you did any are also waiting to hear so don't panic. The visa office seems to be processing applications received in March.

It's almost like they Havnt started attending to anyone this year. I think they are just trying to finish up with folks from last year that are expecting their passports back.

It's definitely frustrating when they had been moving quite quickly before the Christmas break.

Hello people, hope everyone is fine. Waiting is one of the most difficult thing to do, it's even more difficult when there is no set date when one can reach his target, even the bible confirms that, Proverbs 13:12. But when the time finaly come you will not remember all those stress of waiting, I promise you that for sure. I'll be traveling to Canada next week Friday to be precise to meet my lovely wife as my waiting time is over. I wish you guys all the best as you patiently wait for your time, you will get there.

How long did you wait for process to end and were there any additional docs or interview required? Congrats and welcome to Canada.
