Th

Thank you.

Just have a quick question for my son's application who is a minor. Since he is a minor, and will not be going to take a test, does this mean that he will not be going to receive an email for a test invite and, hence, it will not appear on his ECAS? Or he will still be going to receive an email and an update on his ECAS will appear like mine?
Mine is the only one who's ECAS is updated with the test invite thing. His is still just having the 3 lines "in process" thing. Please enlighten me. Thank you.
Your son is not going to be invited for a test so there will be no 4th line on his ecas about test.
However, I have a friend whose 17 year old son was asked to do fingerprint though he as an adult was not requested to. He did completed the fingerprint for his son and the father has since done his test. Both him and his son are taking the oath at the end of this month. So keep watching his ecas for information just like you watch yours.

We have seen several cases like you here and many of them eventually received their AOR without resubmitting. However, since you have waited over 9 weeks, I will not advise you to wait any longer. If you are ok with reapplying, you have every right to do so at this point. If you want to wait a little (one more week) it is also good.
I commend your patience.

Hi, In my ecase the address shown is wrong. The address on my attachment that i recieved as an aor is correct, but the mailing address is wrong (its a very old address from my pr from my home country), and my home address which was supposed to be the same as the mailing address is wrong. It had a link below to notify cic of the change of mailing address and i did that, do i need to call cic as well or just the online notification of address change is enough?

According to the instruction guide, Copr is no longer needed for the citizenship application, hence you don't need to bring it to the interview.

Yes, the only issue is i included it in my application as extra document ...

im a bit concerned.

IP since Nov 25th. applicants after me already got test invites. i havent got anything yet.

should i be alarmed?

Did they provide a checklist of documents to bring on the test invite ? Would you mind posting the list here ? Thanks

When you come to this appointment, you must bring with you:
- This notice;
- 2 pieces of personal identification, one of which has your photograph and signature
on it; (e.g. driver's license, health card, Permanent Resident Card, etc.); Note:
minors are not required to show identification with a signature.
- All your original documents that support your citizenship application (as listed in the document
checklist in the citizenship application form);
- Permanent Resident Card (if you have ever received one);
- All passports and travel documents in your possession (current and expired).
