Hi All,

Is Inland application not recommended? My Spouse has work permit in Canada and i am planning to apply for her PR in family class currently residing in Canada.

Thanks

I just read Leo's post stating you cant really travel after filing for the inland application so it not recommended that way.
If you're denied re entry at the border, the application will be abandoned, yes. As per CIC website, if you meet admissibility requirements you should be fine, but anything can happen. It's a risk.

If you plan on travelling often, outland would be better.

Ok thanks for that information.

Do you have any idea on whether outland or inland have processing time differences?

They are streamlined now to meet 12m timelines for 80 percent of applications. These numbers are not promises or guarantees, just targets.
