It was a direct question it wasnt discuss both sides and give opinion...at least that is what i believe...i hope we are right
If you are discussing advantages and disadvantages, there has to be something to compare with. So I think even writing about advantages over living in houses is fine. As long as this is a part of your response and you have also included some disvantages I believe you did fine. In conclusion you need to take a stance whether it has more advantages or disadvantages.

Hey Guys , first time writing on this forum .... many thanks for contributing and allowing the comparing of answers.
I have two questions please :
1. in the Listening section 1 : are you sure the code is NW33NT , because I distinctly remember it was MW33NT ?
2. In the Listening section 2 : Store didn't make sense to me ( never heard it being used in that context before ) , so I wrote Storage ..... do you think this would be acceptable ?
Thanks in advance

You’re right. But I generally feel that when you’re quoting advantages or disadvantages, it has to be over another form of housing. That’s what I mean that there isn’t any harm if you wrote disadvantages over independent housing/villas etc.

Yeah true, but i was clarifiying that point for the other concerned person!! IELTS is becoming really annoying, with all those hidden tricks...
it is not about testing our spoken and written english anymore...i truly belive they are missing the point here!!

Agreed. Besides your actual English skills, it’s also to cater to the examiners expectations in particular. You’re right you largely have to trick the way to a higher band!

I believe it is not one word question.
I wrote “At the box office” instead of just box office, as the instruction suggested not more than Four Words and/or a number
Question was- where can u leave booked tickets ?
So will i get marks or not

Okay guys this test was surely tricky one, after reading your answers, I guess, I made enough mistakes, I wouldn't be able to get 8 in listening, even reading was tricky and some questions was particularly designed that you wouldn't get them right, I got 9 in reading, one in general and one in Academic, always got 6.5 in writing, but this time I think they can easily give me 7 in writing, because of blunder in listening and reading, speaking test is still pending.

I wish you all a good luck, please post your scores later in this thread.
