Hi to all,
I have closed work permit ( SINP EO ).
My wife has OWP and have some conditions on her permit. She can't work in health care services ( childcare, teaching etc... ).
Can she apply at the border ( with USA ) for changing this condition ???
Is it possible? Any experience?

Alberta takes months to make this kind of change.
Thanks in advance.

No.
Is it neccesary?
Should it be from certain country to do that? CIC website say only certain countries need it. Also the job she pretend to do is simple ( housekeeping ), is not sth proffesional.

To remove the condition she needs to do a medical in Canada. They want to make sure people don't have any communicable diseases before working around children or sick people. Unless she is working in a school/daycare or health care setting she doesn't need to remove the condition.

There was zero chance this was going to be successful and there was no point trying. The condition cannot be removed without completing a medical first - as everyone here told you.

She should complete the medical asap and then give it 2-3 weeks to be processed before attempting another border run to lift the restrictions.

No - you cannot lift the restriction at an airport (unless you are flying in on an international flight into Canada). You must do it at a land border. However either way, the medical is mandatory and you need to wait a couple of weeks for it to be processed.
