Did you check the list of approved universities? And your course also should be recognized. I am not sure what else could be the reason

You don't need to submit docs for secondary education

Oh ok, so there is no point in even mentioning the bachelors in your personal history post-ITA. Just work with your masters.

All the best
Same situation here. After receiving ITA for express entry, I am in the process of filling in application forms. I've got the ECA done for my masters only and received its equivalency to Canadian masters by WES. I have two questions:

1. Is my masters the only qualification which I should mention in the education history or should I also include bachelors and state that ECA was not performed for the latter. I completed my bachelors more than 15 years ago, so it will not appear in the personal history.

2. If I include bachelors in the education history and state no ECA was performed for the same, should I also attach the bachelors degree and mark sheets in the education documents or should I only include ECA for masters with masters degree, transcripts and IELTS?

Thank you for the help.

Hi,

1 - Just mentioning your Masters degree is enough.
2 - Yes, the system will ask for those documents, which will just add unnecessary papers. Just mention your masters degree and the upload ECA, degree certificate and IELTS report. No need for transcripts.

It is clearly written on their website that they won't evaluate masters unless bachelors documents are provided. So I don't think you can claim points for masters unless you share your bachelors degree
Where does it say this?
My problem is that HEC in Pakistan are taking too long to attest my Bachelors degree because my degree was. completed 10 years ago and I have to hop through a lot of red tape to get it done. I have a masters degree from the US shouldn't that be sufficient for WES EE credential assessment requirements?

This information may be false depending on the country where you studied.
For some countries, they DO ask you to submit secondary education documents as additional proof, even if you don't want that secondary education assessed.
If it is requested, and you happen to not send it, they will put your evaluation ON HOLD until you do.

There is clearly some big confusion on this page regarding WES assessements and required documents.

Yes, you CAN have only your Masters assessed, or Bachelors only, or BOTH... It's up to you. For maximum points, you are only required to assess to highest one. HOWEVER.....

For some particular countries/schools/programs of education you attended, WES may ask you to provide your previous degree documents (i.e. Transcripts & Diploma), even though you didn't initially request it to be assessed.

For example, if you had a Masters done in France, they'll just ask you for documents for that particular degree.
But if you had say a Bachelors done in Morocco, they will automatically request your high school documents (Transcripts/Diploma), even if you didn't want it assessed. In fact, it won't even show up in your final report (unless you want it to), as it is just to confirm that you fulfilled the pre-requisite.

Who knows why they have these requirements for some countries and not for others.

So, in your particular case, you should be able to have just your Masters degree assessed. But if the system asks you to submit documents for Bachelor, do it. If you don't, your evaluation will go ON HOLD until you do.

Cheers.
