Anyone submitted family sponsorship before Dec 2016 has received an answer?

The CIC website states that they will finalize 80% of inland spouse sponsorship applications received before Dec 2016 by Dec 2017. Mine was submittes early Oct 2016, but CIC online app states that they are still reviewing my eligibility.

Did anyone with a similar situation received an answer?

Should I contact them or wait through Jan 18?

You scare me , I applied in January 2017 and am inpatient waiting to hear from them .

Don't be, eventually they will. May be my application took more than average. Waiting to hear from others to form a more clear idea.

You mean Dec 2016? If it is 2015 how come they stated they will be done with most pre Dec 2016 by Dec 2017.

We applied on 07/2016 Outland and still waiting but under h&c due to ineligible sponsor.. hoping for good news soon for all of us

Where does it say that? I thought the 80% of applicants being processed in 12 months or under was only applicable for inland and outland applicants that applied after December 7, 2016.

the site says will finish any old application submitted before 7 December 2016 by end of December 2017 and any new application after 7 December will have 12 months. Doesn’t matter inland or Outland.
I’m october 2016 still waiting too.
