Date typo on application form - is it going to be returned

Hi - I made a typo on my application form where I put 2012 in the eligibility period end year. So basically my eligibility period reads 2012-mm-dd to 2012-mm-dd. Unfortunately the mail was already delivered yesterday to Sydney CPC.
My question is: is the whole application going to be returned because of this? And if so, is it going to be returned to the mailing address in the application form, or the sender's address of the parcel? We mailed the application from overseas, but have a mailing address in Canada.

Is it advisable to resubmit a new application now? Or do I have to wait for the application to be returned first?
Also, when I eventually resumbit the application, do I need to sign the form with a new date and new eligibility period?
