Congratulations to all those who have received their PRs. Very happy for all of you. I'm pretty sure that by now I am in Security Screening as my file doesn't seem to be moving at all at NDVO. My background check still says 'In Progress' and the GCMS notes I ordered also haven't come. So I've decided to move on and get on with life. If the PR comes, then well and good. If not, then well and good. No more stressing or feeling sad.

I'm going to wait for another few months. If it doesn't come by my next birthday, then I'll withdraw my application and take a good vacation with my refund

In the meantime... Hope you all have a lovely New Year and all the best for 2018. Hope that everyone who is on this forum gets their PRs really quick.

This is what you will need:
*1.Take print of PPR email.*

*2.Photo copy of all applicants*

*3.Passports only first and last page. Photographs 50x70mm (2 each), photographer stamp on back side with date of photographs taken.*

*4.Name and date of birth of the person at back of photographs.*

*5.Cash per person only for vfs payment. 748+373(courrier) approx.*

*6.Don't carry laptop, pen drive etc to vfs to avoid clockroom.* Mobile phone is ok.

can i use the same photographs which i used while submitting my application online in July. I think the size is same. I just have to get it printed and stamped by photographer. OR should i get clicked again and take latest one?

This is in reference to your application for permanent residence. To finalize your application, we require:



1) Passports

· VFS is our trusted partner for safe and secure passport transmission. Using VFS services is the only way to submit your passport. Contact VFS in India (www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/india) or in Nepal (www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/Nepal) and pay the requisite fees for the Passport Transmission Services . A separate envelope is required for each passport.



· Please take this letter and present it to VFS for the purchase of the secure Passport Transmission Service. VFS will send your passport to the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi in a secure envelope. You will then be advised by VFS when your passport has been returned and is ready to be picked up.

• Please note that permanent resident visas cannot be placed in Diplomatic, Official or Military passports.
• There must be at least two blank pages in each passport.
• We are unable to issue a visa beyond the expiry date in your passport. Your passport must be valid for at least six months.

2) Photographs

Please provide two (2) recent photographs along with your passports for yourself and each accompanying dependent. For instructions on photo requirements and specifications, see: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/pdf/5445EB-e.pdf

I checked my status..
I am still at NA2 . No IP2 yet...
Any idea @Lakhanpal.saurabh or any senior member ...
I did post my gcms notes previously.According to which eligibility, Criminality, Medicals all passed
I am kinda disappointed and sad that I am not a part of this PPR rain.
Any help would be appreciated.

Seems like you may just land up a PPR within this week. But, very strong chances that you will get it in the first 15 days of the new year. Relax and enjoy your new year.

Two guys have got ppr in na2 in the morning... Have patience... Hoga .. ajj nahi tow kal.. nahi tow Max Jan week 2.. it's just 15 days.. have patience
