from Canada Post..yes with Mike signature.
I guess we just have to wait until January , don’t expect much this December, it’s holiday tho.
It is the same one who signed the second one (M Krswda), yet the first one signed by Allen Thomas. I think that guy Mike is the problem :D.
At the same time 9:18 AM.
Should we reapply or wait?

I am thinking of rea-pplying right January 20 since my app was delivered on October 20 and nothing yet ... It would then be almost 3 months ..

I am new to this thread . I applied on oct 15 and App got delivered on 18 oct. Got my Aor on Dec 19.

Just wondering how long does it take for the rest of the process ?

Saw this today in my ECAS:

"We started processing your application on December 21, 2017."

Guys you should wait on re-applying. My application was delivered Oct 16, didn't get AOR so I re-applied on Dec 2. Yesterday I received AOR on my application for Oct 16. Now I don't know what will happen to the second application. Wish I waited a little bit more. I mean it's been over 2 months, so they would obviously open the first application you sent in before the second one.

I'm just wondering if the anxiety and impatience in regards to the wait to get AOR that is causing some to submit multiple applications (admittedly to a varying degree of success, if you believe the posts), what are these folks going to do when there is a delay to "In Process" status? What about the wait between IP and test invitations?

I am also literally shocked what people are doing here. They are following others situations and based on that, they are making a decision. Although they are giving now AOR to November beginning applicants, that doesn't mean that all October applicants have received their AOR. Patience is gold. What urge somebody has to have to apply the second time and maybe even third time? I would really like CIC to punish those impatient ones and to learn them lessons of patience. Maybe because their multiple applications are an additional blockage.

Guys... i got AOR on Nov 7(sent oct 12) and that’s is?! It’s way over a month now since I haven’t heard anything.. u guys think it’s normal?
(Montreal, 1390day, single)

I didn’t mean to complain but most are getting IP within few days.

thanks for posting this! same boat here, it makes me a little bit relieved; aor nov 19 (received oct 16) and no IP yet; Montreal office too, single, similar number of days; good luck! let's update each other :)

out of curiosity, did you apply in English? maybe they put us at the end of the pile :D:D:D:D:D

My statues online is as below :
  1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on October 16, 2017.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on December 1, 2017.
But why haven't I received by mail either the receipt or study book? Is it normal? if not, what should I do?
Thanks & Merry Xmas folks
