2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on February 17, 2017.
3. We started processing your application on February 17, 2017.

A friend of ours applied October 27 2016 and got MR today. We applied October 31 2016 and did upfront medical cic said that our medical is currently processing. Fingers cross

What was your status before it shows currently processing?? was it passed before ??or ppl are getting medical request again if they did upfront ??

Whao! The processing time was about 90 days around sept/October but gradually reduced to 50 days. It is 50days now and my application is on the 51st day today. That's why I am kinda freaking out. I am sure your friend got it eventually.

I did flagpole and got it at the land border.

We are waiting to see what happens next because we did upfront medical and when I call cic they say our medical is currently processing. It's not posted on the cic website thst they have received it or anything but when I call they choice a more precise update, we'll see

Does anybody know do they check background first or ME first . If passed ME, will they ask me add more documents like police cetificite in canada or they already done this before ME

They should have somehow do some background check before ME however it all depends on the officer. But PCC were asked few months after AOR, well thats how most applicants i guess.

After medicals is security check, thats just to make sure you aren’t a threat to Canadian security.

thx for u answer . now i feel better. Cuz I didn’t submit canaidan police certificate. And after AOR ,nothing happened until now, I just scared they ll ask me submit it after MR , then probably a big delay
