how did you contact CIC ? for my case is the same I have recived my AOR but not for my wife!! we wonder if she receive a separate one or it is considered as the same package ... Also they made a mistake for my mailing address in my application .. they put my old address as a correspondent now I dont know if I have to wait to receive my wife application first & then as for the change in address or apply now !!!! could you please share the tel number of CIC so I can call them to ask these questions

I think that's a very good question! It seems like it depends on where you apply. Like if you applied from Toronto then who knows maybe 2 or 3 months!!!

What does it mean "wait 4-6 weeks and call them with proof of signed delivery then they can inquire about what happened with the application on our behalf", so they will tell us to wait till they investigate. They cannot do anything. Better to reapply.

I already contact my MP, and his secretary contacted the office in Sydney and they told her the same.

Can somone please explain to me what is RQ? And why would the officer need your lease/rental agreement?
I dont know about re-applying i submitted a web inquiry just like Goku suggested and we will see ... I am afraid if i resubmit it will just confuse them and just delay everything even more ...
