I called IRCC to find out how far they had gotten in my application and the agent told me that my application was approved. He then instructed I would receive further instructions in the next few weeks which I did on December 1st.but you said on 17th nov it was approved, where did you find that?
I have a question in regards to the physical appointment. How would you submit your pictures seeing that you won't be sending your COPRs back to Montreal?Unfortunately we haven't received our COPR yet, it should arrive within the next couple of days, they recommended we call back when we receive our COPR. We can either organise an in office interview, a telephone call or we can leave Canada and come back and do it the traditional way.
I have a question in regards to the physical appointment. How would you submit your pictures seeing that you won't be sending your COPRs back to Montreal?Amazing, Vancouver got back to me already. Scheduled appointment for 21 December at Vancouver visa office. Much prefer going into a physical appointment than waiting around for a phone call!
It seems they've adjusted their earlier policy of telling people to send back COPRs which is great news for all.
Edit to add: The letter they attached with my appointment details says "Alternatively, you may have this process completed at a land border."
Through calling CIC line.was this from mt express email id or through call to cic line?
\Congrats !!!!. you give me hopeMy call never happened as planned but I have received my COPR
Wondering if I could just flagpole with my COPR? Or is it not that simple...

I was told I can also do physical appointment at inland office or go to the border and flagpole but I'm pretty sure they don't accept the pictures there so a little lost....
I spoke to CBSA today and they told me that as long as I have a multiple entry TRV I can use it. I also spoke to an agent at the call centre today and she advised me that when we go across the border then we just need to tell homeland security that we do not wish to enter the USA, we are just flagpoling.\Congrats !!!!. you give me hope
\Unfortunately its not clear, do you have a visa to enter canada? if so can it be used at the border. we have to check with cic. but the problem is since this is new, agents are not clear and give contradictory answers
if there is a cic email id we can write to it and get clear official cic view point. that will help. is there an email id to which we can write. does anyone know?
Ok thank youI dont know if we can provide photos at office, but cic can send you photo request (document request) if they do not have the photo for pr card. I have had some of friends send it who had sent wrong photos during ppr process
\Congrats !!!!. you give me hope

Can anyone tell me whether date of first entry and last entry is in COPR or not?I did the phone landing and it went pretty smoothly. The phone call lasted about 10 minutes. The officer just went over the CoPR with me and asked me to fix with a black pen any wrong information. Half an hour later she emailed with details regarding mailing her my CoPR so that she can sign it. I sent it on Dec 6 and it came back today (Dec 15) via XpressPost.
The PR card application was already submitted so I have been able to link it to my account as well.
Yes it is (although it was incorrect on mine)Can anyone tell me whether date of first entry and last entry is in COPR or not?
