Hi,

Can someone kind enough to explain to me the procedure after submit passport, until getting PR card?
Also, how long is the expiry of COPR to do the landing?

Hello Everyone!

I’ve been invited to apply and I am a dual citizen, Italian-Brazilian.
My Italian passport is the one I use to travel and used to come to Canada to study. It is my primary document in the Express entry.
However, seemingly I have to upload my Brazilian passport because of my dual citizenship.
The problem is that it is expired and I feel I wont have time to renew it.
I have my ID from Brazil and my divorce certificate (that i have to upload) which is a legal document that also states my nationality.

In your opinion, is the translated ID and the Divorce Certificate enough to proof? Or should I risk missing the deadline waiting on the Passport?

Thanks!

Hi everyone, Please I need help with my spouse's travel and address history (I;m the PA).
My spouse has worked with one company for the past 10years but in different locations (countries) on work permits and rotation basis of sometimes 1month in and 1month out or 6weeks in and 3 weeks out depending on his contract in each location.
we think it's best to take his residency as his home country which is where he goes back to each time he is off. The problem is that with his rotation, he has taken trips of about 6 times to and fro each work location and his home country and we are at loss how to capture this for all his trips to different countries in the past 10 years.

we would appreciate any advice on how best to proceed.

@TanakaM , pls can you help me. My university certificate & WES mentions my Masters passing yr as 2008, but actually my exam finished in jan 2009 & my result was given in Feb 2009. So when filling up the profile, what should I put for the following 2 questions:
1. End of Masters, if I put jan 2009 but WES & transcript says 2008 will that be an issue, its just a matter of one month.
2. When did I qualify for job, my qualification was after masters, so should I put Feb 2009?
3. I am thinking to put the Masters completion date as DEc 2008 ( when my final exam began to match the WES & Certificate yr) & qualification as Feb 2009.If I get ITA then can I write 'waiting for result' for jan 2009-feb 2009 time period?

Thanks

Put what is on the degree certificate and explain this varieties in your LOE post-ITA.

2. When did I qualify for job, my qualification was after masters, so should I put Feb 2009?

Just put Feb 2009. This is a minor question so don't worry.

3. I am thinking to put the Masters completion date as DEc 2008 ( when my final exam began to match the WES & Certificate yr) & qualification as Feb 2009.If I get ITA then can I write 'waiting for result' for jan 2009-feb 2009 time period?

Follow answer 1 and 2.

Thanks

Hi,

Recheck the info you have entered, particularly the money you have said you have. It must be above the minimum. Also check dates you entered to ensure that your documents are valid.

Hi,

IMO, the Italian passport is adequate as the system (post-ITA) only asks for a current and valid passport, which you will use to travel.

It will also ask if you have any other IDs and may ask for proof of Brazilian citizenship. This is when you can submit the Brazilian ID.

Out of interest, what did you submit in your student visa application.?

Hi,

This is not enough for a direct ITA, but gives you a chance for Ontario PNP.
Select it as a province of interest in your EE profile and do more research. You will find lots of information on it on this forum, just search using the search tool.

Hi,

In address history you can indeed just mention the home address since the others were temporary. IMO, 6 months + is what needs to be mentioned.

For travel history, in order to avoid additional request, enter all of the international trips he has taken. If there is not enough space create a table with all the entries that could not fit and add it to your LOE.

After submitting passports you wait for visas and COPR.
COPR does not necessarily expire, what does is the visa, if I'm not mistaken. It will be valid upto the date your medicals expire (1 year after they were done) or when your passport expires, which ever comes first.

After you land and active your PR, you wait for the PR card. Of late this is taking a bit of time, 6 weeks +.

I hope that sheds a bit of light.
