No. They give you that letter to let you know what you specifically missed. So you can fix those errors and resubmit your complete application.

But yesterday or day before someone said he/she got his/her application back and in letter it was mentioned that you wont lose your spot if you resubmit. So in that case you probably should include that letter. I missed that part of conversation so I dont know more details. But @razerblade might know. I remember him having conversation with that person.
I never received a response from that person. I'm not sure how CIO-Sydney would know whether an application is re-submitted or brand new till they open it, which could already be 1-2 months after the delivery date. I was asking the person, whether they were instructed to indicate something on the envelope, but didn't hear back.

I am sure that CIC would not send such a letter. I might be wrong but I highly doubt it. But in the end I think he was messing with us. Lol.

I agree. I have never heard of CIC going out of their way to preserve someone's spot even though the applicant was the one who messed up the form.

I have a question regarding submitting the passport pages. We are supposed to submit the passport pages containing biological pages.Does it mean that the first two pages that contains the information?

Or we are supposed to submit all the pages that has entry exit stamps and visas?

Entry/exit stamps, visas are not requested, only bio pages are. Typically these are the first and the last pages on a passport, which contain your personal information.

What razerblade said below is absolutely right as that what CIC is looking for specifically.
Entry/exit stamps, visas are not requested. Only bio pages, typically these are the first and the last pages on a passport, with your personal information.
I also submitted all pages leaving blank ones out (not saying directly or indirectly that you should do the same). I received AOR with that too.
So either of them is fine. Ultimately it's your call. Good Luck

Hello @ razerblade,

My initial submission for my application was on Oct 11, 2017. Application received on Oct 16, 2017 at Sydney, Nova Scotia. My application was returned back to me on October 29, 2017 . Reason for the return :- Incomplete application. The officer highlighted the section that I forgot to input the 9 digit of my SIN number. There was a letter that came with it. The letter gave me two options. Option 1. That I can fill up a new form and resubmit. Option 2. That I can fill out the missing information and resubmit my application and the officer said that if I choose option 2, my application will be checked proper again then when every thing is complete, processing will begin on my application. The officer gave me an address to mail my application and also to include the cover letter they sent with my application.
I resubmitted my application on November 03, 2017. Application delivered to the address given to me by the officer on November 06, 2017.

I'm still waiting for the AOR. Any body I this situation? Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks.

My app delivered date is Oct 20. Please update line 464. Recently, maybe by mistake it is changed to Oct 12.

There is mismatch in App Sent/ App delivered dates for lines 463, 465, 467, 474, and 475 as well. There are quite a few records where App Delivered date is prior to App Sent date.

Hello Rajmalhotra7,

I recall now that my parents also got the PR same time as yours. I just wanted to know whether you have applied citizenship for your parents? I am assuming they are senior and will not require test or language requirement. I have applied for my father and so was looking to find out the timeline for processing in case of seniors.. thank you

Hi, November applicants have just started receiving AOR. I believe there is no fast track for re-submitted applications. Did the Officer indicate to write anything on the envelope that suggests it's a re-application ? I'm assuming no. If so, it will be opened in due time like all other applications. Just have to wait.

A lot of people choose option 2, like you did. I know of one case from early this year, where the person also forgot to enter his SIN. He just filled the returned form and sent it back. Now he's a citizen. Just sit tight, AOR will come in due time.

I would think just get a letter from HR on the company letterhead that indicates you worked in the same job for 5 years (it's called Verification of Employment, companies have a standard template). You can also provide pay stubs for every month.

Does India stamp entries and exits on passports ? Photocopy of that will be some proof. Also, send them your tickets and/or boarding passes. I googled and couldn't find out whether it's possible to get entry/exit records from India. Did they explicitly ask for proof from Indian authorities ? Could you please type exactly what it says ?

Can you also confirm when your application started processing ? Spreadsheet is missing this information. Thanks

Hi Saini01,

Nice to hear from old friends. Yes, the current citizenship application is for my father. My father does not require language requirement or citizenship test. I believe that he will be called for interview though and the application approval will have to go through background and criminal checks, so there may not be savings in time being a senior.

When have you applied for your father's citizenship.
