Hello Guys ,
What I heard currently they are opening application for 12/1/2017 . Mine invitation is expiring in Mid January . is there chance to get report before that ?
Also any one submitted the FBI PCC after deadline and PR got approved later without any issue ?
I need to submit 3 job description letter , I got all the letter 2-3 month back . Do I need to get the letter for latest date or is there any expiration date for the same.
Also how long India PCC is being valid ? I got the same in September ...I am in Chicago , US area where Indian PCC we get in 1 day .. Should I need to get the new Indian PCC which is 90 days older only ?

They're opening Sep 5 (not 12/1 - where did you get that info?).
Letters don't expire. Not sure about current position letter (I plan on just adding a new generic HR letter on top of the experience/duties letter when I submit in February for my current position).
If you haven't gone to India after the PCC was issued, its valid for 1 year (I think - or indefinitely?). No need to get new India PCC either way.
Finally, there are number of cases which submit FBI PCC after deadline (providing LOE prior to that asking for extension, of course) and get approved.
According to Canada immigration site,
If you need a police certificate from a country or territory and:
- are currently living there, or received the police certificate before leaving, the police certificate must be issued within six months before you apply.
- have lived there in the past, the police certificate must be issued after you last lived in that country or territory.

I dropped email on 12/6 and got below response today they are opening for 09/01/2017 ...!!! (Typo for December)

The current processing time for an FBI Background Check is taking 14-16 weeks to complete from the date the request was received. It can take 14+ weeks for a request to clear our security process, so we are not able to see the request in our system until then.
At this time we are opening mail we received on approximately 09/01/2017. We are unable to verify the delivery of a package until it is opened. If you submitted your request by courier (Fed Ex, UPS, or USPS), please view their web site to verify delivery.

In general in best and worst case , How long currently it is taking to get PR card in hand after submission of application .
Also how much time it takes to approve the application , if all the document is uploaded properly on Express entry profile.
Suppose if i will upload all the documents 1st Jan 2018 , by when i will get my PR card on hand ..

I filled the attached form the site "https://www.fbi.gov/services/cjis/identity-history-summary-checks" and sent to below address mentioned in the form itself in bottom ,including 18$ certified cheque from bank.
Just i am making sure i sent the correct form as i can see it is taking 4 month to get the report

That is what we need as the US/FBI PCC for uploading in our application.Hello everyone,
As of yesterday they are processing September 5th applications. I sent them an email on Dec 7th and I got a reply on Dec 8th saying the above and they cannot locate our applications (mine delivered on August 31 and My wife’s September 1) and asked me for tracking numbers. I provided them with tracking numbers.
Later I called FBI customer support and I was told they can not locate our applications. But, the guy said because last week of August was Labor Day long weekend there are chances we might have picked some mails later (I.e on Sept 5) and asked me to check back on Dec 12th. So if any of you guys are in the same boat wait till 12th and call them.
P.S. My credit card was charged on December 8th in the evening.

Update - Just called FBI.
Our fingerprints are accepted and the results will be mailed out on Wednesday.
