Hey!
You and I have a similar thing happening. I'm a September 1 applicant and yesterday my ECAS changed to "We started processing you application on Dec. 6" and my background check changed to "We are processing your background check".. seems weirdly fast, so naturally I assume that there's something wrong haha.
Good luck, it will be interesting to see how this progresses. I'm Mexico VO, what's yours?

Haha yes exactly I also assume something must be wrong! Mine is Vienna and I’ve read it’s a very slow VO. Best of luck to you!

You guys are so awesome! Thank you :)

Its all making more sense now... So the local VO would be the one responsible for looking through our photos and chat logs etc? And making the final decisions I suppose.
Yes, they determine eligibility among many other things.

Guys thanks a lot for all your help in this forum. Do we have any sponsor from Quebec? I am not sure when we need to apply for CSQ? Should we wait to receive an email saying to do so? Or when we have received the SA email we can send the forms for requesting CSQ? Does anyone know how long it takes to get that? Thank you.

AOR1 received this morning to sponsor email address...application received 25th Oct. Email to PA saying that they had received my application and giving the sponsor a UCI and the application number.

I can actually check my mailbox without fear of having a returned application in there now! :)

And wait for it.. just linked my application on ECAS and MyCIC on the first try! Wowza! Anything else im meant to do? Brain fart here!

That's good to hear, I say (at least) half the battle is getting the first AOR, knowing you didn't mess anything up with the app! The other half of the battle is just patience as once you get the Schedule A and PCC off, nothing much else you can do (aside from medical if not done upfront) but wait..

Lucky you guys, I still have to fill out many forms to send for CSQ request as I live in Quebec. I'm not sure if this extra stage will make the process any longer...
