Hi,Hi Guys
Nothing happened after submitting PCC and Medical
My timeline so far
Jan 4th,2016 - Courier status - received.

Dad Passed away suddenly (Primary Applicant)
August 2, 2016 - Email received saying File is transferred to CPC-Ottawa
February 13, 2017 - Medical and PCC request
Consulted with experts here and completed medical and pcc here in Toronto (My mom is with me on Super visa)
February 27, 2017 - Submitted PCC and Medical for my mom
February 27, 2017 - RPRF paid for my mom
March 1, 2017 - Submitted my Dad's death certificate and request letter to make my Mom as primary applicant
March 27, 2017 - CIC sent another communication and acknowledged the submission and asked IMM008 and new agreement forms
April 1 , 2017 - New IMM008 is submitted
April 5, 2017 - ecas changed as application received for my Mom.
My Mom went back to India as Super Visa expired assuming that she would get PPR.
No change since then. Applied Super visa again and she got that and will be coming here in 2 weeks.
But nothing on PR Sponsorship.
I am checking this status to ecas.
I have not had any success in linking existing application in Mycic.
I tried several times using UCC, Application Number or any method. No luck.

My 2 cents on the issue:Abhi,
OK.I totally agree but to come again multiple 10 years visitor visa will work or not?
Thanks.Now I am clear.My 2 cents on the issue:
OFFICIAL:
A permanent resident of Canada is not eligible to get/hold a tourist/transit/immigration visa for Canada. If you have any such visas with validity, they are NULL AND VOID once you become a permanent resident. Some border officers/CIC agents will actually put a mark on the visas itself but some do not do it. The only way for you to enter Canada once you have your PR is to have a PR card or a PRTD (no ETA either).
NEXT PART:
CBSA MAY let you in if you are Permanent Resident albeit after thoroughly checking your status (sending you to secondary and grilling you on the why) if someone presents themselves at a land/air/sea border without PR card or documents. They do not like it either and it is highly advised NOT TO DO IT THIS WAY. CBSA OB says the following:
https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/ircc/migration/ircc/english/resources/manuals/enf/enf04-eng.pdf
Subsection A27(1) provides that a permanent resident has the right to enter and remain in Canada subject to the provisions of the Act.
Subsection A19(2) requires an officer to allow a permanent resident to enter Canada if satisfied following an examination on their entry that they have that status. Permanent residents who are under enforcement proceedings keep their permanent resident status and retain.
Border services officers at POEs have the discretion to authorize the entry of permanent residents, even in the absence of documentation. If documentary evidence is not available, the border services officer at Immigration Secondary must establish the person’s permanent resident status by questioning the person and checking the person’s status in GCMS. The status of persons who became permanent residents before 1973 has to be verified by contacting the Operations Support Centre at Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada’s National Headquarters at OSC-CSO@cic.gc.ca. Once the border services officer is satisfied that a person is a permanent resident, the examination should be concluded and the person allowed to enter Canada without delay.
sure, christmasHi,
Wait up to last week of DEC-2017.Hope,something will happen.
o, interesting to hearHello all,
We just got PPR today, I'm the sponsor. My dad is in Hong Kong, and my mom is here with me now, both are Hong Kong citizen, I wonder how I can handle this, from the email, it doesnt sound like we need to send the original passports since they are from visa-exempted countries/cities. anyone has any experience ?
Thanks
Hi tworegtdi,Just got request to re-do medical yesterday (Dec 7th, 2017). original medical, PC and RPRF were paid in Feb 2017. This morning got another msg with the "pre-arrival" letter. My CIC background check finally changed to: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Under medical section is now says: We are reviewing the results of your medical exam. Previously it showed: You have passed the medical exam.
OttawaHi tworegtdi,
What's your visa office?
