I got a completely new one. They actually saw my PR application in the system... and the officer asked if I was sure I wanted to get the work permit because I am "really at the end of the PR process".... I was like yaaaaaaaaaaaa I think I better get the work permit because.... nevermind

Could you mention what documents are required to get new work permit?
my 3 yr post graduate work permit is about to expire and I don't have employer now and waiting for PR federal stage( have CSQ).

I finally got PPR, I got it like 5 minutes ago, so it might mean they are working overtime...

2. AOR Received......................19-02-2017
3. Med's Requested..................05-04-2017

5. Decision Made (ECAS).........17-11-2017
6. PPR......................................05-12-2017

I am from an Visa exempt country, so I will be sending them just a copy of my passport, photos and the Annex A.

In this case it is a bit tricky. Unless there a medical request, panel physician can not send for another application. and if you got another MR for another application, they can not do second medical for the same person (as said by my clinic) unless you need further medical analysis. in my case, I did first medical with first IME (for TRV), then when I got second MR with another IME (for PR), I send the proof of medical through email and webform, but CIC did not receive it, then I request my clinic to do inquiry , then they sent my medical exam proof to regional medical officer. the following day, my medical is passed. I think it is better to inform clinic about your second application, they will tell you how they can help you.

what was the time frame between getting MR for temporal visa application and MR for PR application ? was it long? this friend of mine applied for visitor's visa extension for a month, got MR and did the exam the following day after the request. less than 24 hours after medicals the application was approved and visitors record issued. She called panel physician and was advised that they do not even have complete results of the exams so have not yet forwarded the results...hahahahha very funny , these guys wont cease to amaze us. but this friend also has a PR application in process .not sure if its quebec skilled workers or quebec sponsorship. but is still to receive medicals and is an outland applicant ....am still laughing up till now. can't help it. these guys wont stop to amaze me.. as per their website the processing time for visitor visa extension online is 100 days and they are still working on august applications. hers took 5 days ....

Hello to everyone here. We got our visas recently. Just have few questions on landing.
First, Do we really need to do the first landing in montreal or quebec as we are qsw federal? or can we land in any part of canada?
Second, What are the requirements for landing aside from copr and visas?
Third, I really dont speak french at all, will that be a minus point during the landing interview?

Please share your ideas on landing. Thank you.

1).Montreal.. Or Quebec Choice is yours both comfortable..
2).CSQ Paper..Copr and Visas..medical paper given at the time of Medical..
