Extend landing date after COPR

Hello,

I have a question, please help!

Once receiving COPR, how do we extend landing time? if unable to travel within the validity of medical test.

As we know after receiving the COPR, the landing can be done any time before the expiry of the passport or medical test, whichever is earlier (The medical is valid till 1 year from the day it was completed).

On health grounds can CIC allow you to repeat medical test again?

From what I have read on the forums, you can delay your landing in exceptional circumstances. for example there was a case where the applicants wife was pregnant. So he discussed it with CIC. Informed them before COPR expired. Got the baby delivered. Resubmitted baby's passports + new medicals for all 3 of them + funds proof as per new dependents and received a new COPR.

So it can be done but its a hassle and only allowed in exceptional circumstances.
