Hello senior members

My status is PGWP. Its valid until 2019. I am invited for EE. I am outside of canada now waiting for my TRV (i left canada to visit family and hadnt checked my TRV ... It was expired). My question is: can i go ahead and submit my EE application? Wont that be a confusion? In my TRV application i did not mention in explanation letter that i am going to apply for EE and in the form IMM5257 i said i will stay for a year however i am permanently employed. I have been waiting for 50 days now for TRV. I am outside canada but Ottawa is doing my TRV since i put Canada as my residence

I am very confused, i would appreciate if a senior member helps

Thanks

I think it is better to wait until you clear up the situation of TRV first then once you have it done, you can open your EE to avoid any implications

That's fine. You can have two active applications at the same time. You can go ahead and submit your PR application. IRCC allow you to have 'dual intent' and apply for a TRV and PR at the same time, there is no confusion or whatsoever. Good luck!

That's fine as long as you were in a short trip to Iran, this makes Canada your country of residence. Good luck!

Simple answer to the topic question: Yes.

Everything else mentioned in the thread has no relevance. There are zero complications.
