Almost similar landed on 5 oct and additional docs being reviewed status since 13 days .. neither approved nor any photo request .. worriedlanded on 3rd october no news yet. mycic says the additional documents you provided are being reviewed. never provided any additional documents and no photo request.
I suggested you to give a call to CIC to check if you need to re-take the photo. I landed on Oct 4 at Kingston Bridge.landed on 3rd october no news yet. mycic says the additional documents you provided are being reviewed. never provided any additional documents and no photo request.
So do you think, if there is a 10 to 15 days delay after "being reviewed" status, means we need to confirm that we have to send a photo request?I suggested you to give a call to CIC to check if you need to re-take the photo. I landed on Oct 4 at Kingston Bridge.
The friends who landed together with me have received their PR cards on this Monday, so I just called CIC on Tue to check if I will get them very soon as well.
BUT, they told me my photo need to be re-took. My status also change to "the additional documents you provided are being reviewed" since Nov 14, and I also got confirmed that the officer leave a new photo request at the same day. But i never received any email or mail from CIC about the new photo request.
The agent said the communication between the officer and applicant is really slow now, even sometime, they just leave a note only,
and you have to find the photo issue yourself after you passed the processing time.
This is very common issue for PR card, so some officer just ignore the note.
Anyway, better to check yourself about the PR card, I may say after 50 days is the best time to double check the photo.
Here is the new photo request that I received this week,

Just call CIC and ask as once it's approved it only takes a few days usually to get the cardsHi guys,
Did my landing with spouse on Sep 8, case approved date Oct 27 and 31 respectively. Still waiting to receive our PR cards at our canadian address in edmonton. Is this normal or should I contact CIC?
So do you think, if there is a 10 to 15 days delay after "being reviewed" status, means we need to confirm that we have to send a photo request?
Did you receive email after you talk to the agent? When ? Immediately?
If we will not receive any email and if the Agent confirms, need new photo, can we send the address mentioned with our PR Application number and Client Id?
thanks,
About 15% - 25% people have the photo issues as the agent said to me. This is a very common issue.Hi everyone,
I have two questions:
1. I landed on Nov 17th. when I can expect the PR card?
2.Do they always as for pictures?
I tried calling IRCC but I cant reach them. the wait time is too long or they super busy so they cant answer calls.
I have flight booked for feb25, 2018.
I do not think there will be any issues,We've been asked to send new photos.
Is there anyone who sent the new photos outside Canada?
Is it risky to send it outside Canada?
you are lucky to be received by that time unless if you will be asked for a photo request.Hi everyone,
