But the question when the wait should be ended, my application was received on Oct 16th (40 days already) , how long would you advise me to wait ? and after waiting what should we do ?

I know it is difficult question to answer but any suggestions ?

I strongly recommend you reapply immediately. This thread is created for those who already decided to reapply, not for those who are willingly to wait nor those who has already got AOR and ask others to wait.

If anyone decides to join the reapply, welcome. Otherwise I have no interest in arguing with you.

If you haven't call IRCC yet, do it, give them your info and you may be told to reapply (or you can ask them whether you can reapply or not). Then write what they told you in your explanation letter.

I have already tried to contact them with no success (long waiting and then the line gets cut off) i'm already thinking of reapplying and provide an explanation letter

but i was looking for other suggestion if anyone may have with a previous experience

Fact I heard from the other forum member:
some one applied and ended up reapplying one year later because heard of nothing from IRCC during the entire year.

It is very likely that IRCC lost many packages and doesn't want to admit it. That's why they tell the call center agents to say so.
I will not take it that any file is lost yet, we just got spoiled by the news that a lot of October errors applicants were receiving AOR with 2 weeks which is very unusual. It used to take 6 to 8 weeks. Patience is the wise option.

Wait so you are suggesting that the solution to the problem that application processing is delayed due to large amounts is to send even more applications to IRCC?

That's like being at a very busy restaurant and you are waiting for your steak. It hasn't arrived yet and your solution is "let's order another entree".
Thanks for putting it that way, sending multiple applications will only cause more delays.
