WES certificate query

Hi,

I and My wife want to apply for Canada express entry and need to get WES certificate. I have 2 query.

1) I have done WES for my graduation degree in 2013. After that my education status remains unchanged. So my query is whether I have to get WES done again or this is valid?

2) In our cast, girls name(first + last) changes after marriage. And now if we have to go for WES so name which is mentioned in degree certificate is before marriage and new name in passport. So what all documents needs to be send to WES? WES certificate will be allocated with new name or old name?

1/ validity of WES report is 5 years, so if you got yours in 2013 it would be valid until 2018
2/ in such case I think you need to send an email to WES explaining the situation asking them for advice before sending documents

1. your WES evaluation needs to be valid at the time of submitting you e-apr. so the month of your 2013 evaluation is critical and you need to assess if you will get an ITA + submit e-apr in time before your evaluation expires

2. wes certificates are always prepared with the name as per the degree. post-ITA you can write an LOE explaining the name mis-match and provide documents like marriage certificate etc

As per my understanding, WES shouldnt have expire and i have also checked my certificate and no where mentioned anything related to expiry. Any idea of expiry for WES certification!1

The WES website says that the assessment is valid for 5 years.
