Hi! our timeline is:

Application received on August 31st 2017
AOR on October 13 2017
started processing your application on October 12, 2017
Sponsorship DM- October 21, 2017
Medicals and Schedule A requested on October 20 2017
Medicals received October 24 2017

What's the next step after this? I would also like to pick on your brain about our case. He is in Canada with me as a visitor and we would like to extend his visit until he gets a response. We're thinking another year (to Dec 2018) do you think this is something they would approve? and how him being here (though we applied outland) would affect the next steps in this process? Does he have to get out of the country and backed once *fingerscrossed* approved?

thanks everyone

Hello,
I am also planning to apply for a VV for my Wife. .
What are the Ties I need to show. She is housewife and we have anniversary coming in Jan
Any suggestions.

I would suggest you that, better is, there should be good reason for his stay with you. If he is staying more than the time you promise CIC during VV application.

Just Checked ECAs status only 2 lines there

1. Application received on Aug 22
2. Medical results have been received

I had uploaded documents as well around Oct 29 and got same notifications on Oct 31 and Nov 2 mentioning file forwarded to NDVO.

Medical shows cleared on GCKey

I never received email from New Delhi office acknowledging application is received or uploaded docs received. I am worried now. It seems odd.

Hi everyone,

I just noticed today that the BCIP header in the spreadsheet was updated to the below:

Background Check
"We started processing"
(YYYY-MM-DD)

There's a line in our ecas which says "We started processing your application on October 16, 2017." Is it referring to that in the spreadsheet? Or is this for GCKey?

Does anyone know the call centre number where i can speak to a live person, not just the automated system?
You need to keep going through the automated system. It will hang up on you repeatedly when it says "experiencing a high number of calls". I used to get through by hitting 2 1 1 0 but I'm not sure if that number pattern still works. I usually had to call anywhere from 5 to 10 times in a row to get through to someone.

Thank you, i will try.

i would wait until closer to the day... in my opinion... my husbands expired june 25 we applied june 8... just wait and see do one extension for now and see how this process goes!! good luck
Which country your husband from
My husband is here on a VV as well. We extended his VV for 6 months in june to March 1 which will bringus to 1 year since submitting the app (hoping to be approved by then). It should be done before his VV expires. I think a year is a long time -- not sure if it would be approved. You will want to show that you have more then enough money to support yourselves as he is not allowed to work. He doesnt have to leave once approved. They will send a Visitor Record.
Which country he from

Is there anyone here who received the AOR 1 in October and still haven't got a request for medical?

Application received on Aug-24-2017
AOR 1: Oct-13-2017
Schedule A and PCC were submitted on around Oct-17-2017

No medical request yet. GCKey says, "We are processing your application."

Any suggestions what to do about this?

Medical requests come at all different times during the process, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. Has your app been transferred to your VO yet?

Friends, who knows if while we are applying for Quebec papers our main process is still going or it freezes until we are approved by Quebec?

Thank you

Guys please help me to understand, the line 'we started processing your application on Nov 27' means that they just received my package or already opened and started working on it ?

Thank you
