Am an Indian citizen living in India currently. My husband lives in Canada under work permit. And Wen I applied for my open work permit after our marriage which was on July 2017, my application got rejected stating his employment details and spousal relationship details were incomplete (though they were perfectly submitted). Second time I applied providing extra documents whichever possible for the same reason they mentioned and it got REJECTED AGAIN stating this time that I dint provide evidence for spousal relationship. I submitted marriage certificate, invitation, photos of marriage and reception, personal photos of us together, affidavit of support from both of our relatives for attending our marriage , our gmail chat history, what's app chat history, call history, facebook timeline showing wishes for our marriage. Now I don't understand what more evidence they need from me to believe our relationship. Now he is going to apply for PR and am his dependant PR and am doubtful if these spousal relationship documents are enough for our PR submission. Pls help with reply. Really frustrated.

If your husband is on a work visa, how can you apply for PR?
Are you applying under the EE system?
In that case, you will not need to send so many documents for your application.
It is much more straightforward and easy.
I had applied for my permit and in the mean while my husband created his EE profile and got invite letter now. So since my work permit is rejected twice am not doing it third time. Instead we will continue this PR procedure and wait for it. As this will take lot of time , we thought I can apply n get my work permit and go to Canada as early as possible. Unfortunately I had to waste my time money and energy on it all these days. Our only hope is PR now . What are the spousal relationship documents absolutely mandatory for PR And wat other documents can be kept in addition to prove the relationship? Pls help. Thanks

For PR, did you get the government-approved marriage certificate?

Yes I hav posted about that then. And ya I had applied through consultant. That have no reply other than it's my bad luck. I had submitted a govt approved marriage certificate. And anything n everything that would support our relationship. But I hav a doubt that is it because I dint change my address to my husband 's adress in passport that they rejected? They dint feel we are not fake?
I don't think so the rejection is because of this- what does the letter say explicitly? I'd advise you to also apply for GCMS notes as this will give a clearer picture on why you were rejected.
