This is fine. Just use the i94 associated with the current employment.Would automatic visa re-validation apply if I have changed employers and have received the I797 approval notice (which has the updated I-94) for the new employer?
Technically, in all the documentation, I do not see any issues, thus searching for anyone who may have experienced this.
My only concern is getting someone from CBP who doesn't know about this stuff at the border or who does it incorrectly.
