Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2017 timeline and updates

My sponsor (wife) has not once received any emails. I'm not sure why, because all her info was on the application obviously.

So when I click on my application in mycic, this is what's shown at the top: Applicant Table Application Number: F000******* Date application received: 02/28/2017 .

is this my AOR?

She may missed the email somehow..
Record shown about hows your application going..
Btw u dont need AOR since you knew your app #.. you may assume you will get PR after 12months + 1 month from app received (AOR is kinda official info about date will start to process along with app # - not from the date app received)

I'm not sure but for what I remember, my husband received the email 1 or 2 weeks later than me.

Did you make photocopies all of your filled forms when you applied? You can check the photocopies to see if her email address is correct or not.

yes we have digital/paper copies of our whole application, we checked and her email address was correct, and we did change the information even though it was correct using that link, and still she has not got a single email.

You can use the link that I sent you to ask about your issues. The service works quite fast, I think they will answer you soon. Don't ONLY try to call CIC number, sadly to say that I have never ever caught anyone.

Hi everyone,

I submitted my application through Canada Post and the tracking result shows that it was received but I didn't receive any text message confirming that. I see many people here received the text message. Is there anyone who didn't receive the text message? Just wondering if I should contact them somehow to doublecheck if they've received it? Thanks!

If i were you, it doesnt bother me.. bcs i believe your application been received. Now you will wait for 6-8weeks to get the AOR

1. Ussualy by email (i assumed all people have email account)
2. To link your application, you need to have an account on http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/account.asp
If you applied online- it will automatically linked (i assumed you applied tru your account on the link given) or once you get AOR- it will give you application number- you can link it after. When do u need? Its depend on you, if you dont want to link it, every information will be email to you but .. for myself, its mandatory bcs it gave me : detailed application status in real-time and messages about my application online instead of by mail that i may missed it.

I applied in April and CIC received my file in 22 April but no Medical Request or SA yet after 2 Years of open work permit. Don't know what's going on??? Does anybody got medical or anything On or after April 2017 applicants?

CSQ and OWP are not at all related. My husband OWP was issued on May 23 and is CSQ approved on May 30... The sponsor will get a request from CIC to ask Québec immigration for the CSQ few days after you receive AOR.

I applied in April (file received on the 4th) as well and received my medical request two days ago.

My app was received on April 11 and I got medical request two days ago... Yours should come soon
