I am having trouble filling up the application form for address history

I came as international student then after graduation I went back to my home country and stayed there for 5 months.while I was traveling I already had my post graduate work permit with me approved. After 5 months I came back to Canada on worker visa and started working here.

My question is, do I put this 5 months of staying in my country of citizenship as "addresses I lived in last 5 years?" It's not really traveling as it was really long and I didn't have any address in Canada during that time, I technically left Canada for 5 months you can say.

Can anyone help me out with this? I have traveled to a different countries in last five years including my home country but none of the trips lasted longer than a month. My question is, which addresses should be listed in the address history? Does it have to do anything with how long I was outside Canada?

Thanks

If you maintained a Canadian residence during your 5 months in your home county, I would put the Canadian address.
If you vacated your Canadian residence during the 5 months then I would put the address in your home country.
In the end, it really shouldn't matter as those 5 months do not count as physical presence in Canada in any case since you declared this 5 months absence on your physical presence calculation report.

You probably already know that if you were physically present for more than 183 days in your home country during the eligibility period, then you will need to obtain a police certificate from your home country.

Thank you so much! I only stayed 162 days, and during that time I didn't have any Canadian address as I was a student and left my Canadian place of residence to go back home for 5 months, although I had my work permit approved before leaving Canada. Legally I had worker status in Canada.

So I did this, qs 9c, I selected "Yes" I lived outside Canada.

Then i wrote an explanation letter why I put yes and why I am not required to fill up that other form that they mentioned.

Then in the address section I mentioned my 162 days of stay in my home country

Does it look ok?

Thank you so much for your response.
