Spousal open work permit

Hi All ,

My wife applied for a open work permit based on my status in Canada, as I am Working in NOC B category and I’m on a PGWP, as she submitted all the documents, they still refused the work permit stating
“ you do not fullfill the requirements based on relationship with the inviter”

Can someone tell me what does my wife should do in order to do better

Hi, what are the documents that you have shown as proof of relationship?

Let me list what should have been there to make your marriage look prominent:
1. call history(as much as possible), whatsapp call are also considered.
2. chat history. whatsapp, hike, text messages all are considered.
3. email history.
4. atleast 40 pics of marriage and after marriage. you can always show some of the pics as pre-marriage pics. it completely depends how you drive the interview.
5. marriage certificate.(original)
6. joint bank account(not mandatory though)
7. how you drive the interview is the main thing here. Questions that would be asked will be around your family, marriage, for how long youve known each other, spouse must be aware of your whereabouts in canada like what you do, your designation, company in which you work, where you studied in Canada, which course you went under during your studies. Confidence is the key during interviews mate.

please who writes this letter of explanation. Is it the spouse living in Canada or the spouse living outside Canada?
