Spyfy could you clarify this?

If it is so, my application might be returned and I have to prepare. The question is when and activity of address finishes in the last day of the month. Should the next address be written as the next month or to make it continuous, start it with the same month?
Just relax :)
CIC agents are human beings and are fully aware of what ending a job (or a residence) in a given month and starting in the next means... There is no gap between August 2017 and September 2017.
Also, very weird, they also know that weekends exist. If they wanted you to give the exact dates, do you think they'll expect you to specify that you were unemployed for 2 days when you ended your job on friday and started the next on monday ? Actually, this may be the reason why only the months are specified...

It may put your mind at peace if you know that I got my AOR even if some of my entries were like those ^^

I listed the dates the same way as you did. If I move out of a place on the 31st of a month, logically it does not make sense to specify the end date as the month following it. IRCC should've asked for days as well like they did on the old form (C24), if they really wanted that level of detail.

User @mumbai1985 listed it in the same way as well, despite a mistake he made ... still got AOR.

Hi guys, do we have to write the residential address for the period when we are unemployed? Place you were physically present? I am confused. I lived in my home country and canada for the first period of unemployement? Do I have to write both the addresses?

The correct format will be
2017-10 to 2017-11
2017-04 to 2017-10

There should be NO GAP in address.

Thanks
How would that be the correct format? They didn't move in November.

Hi Spyfy. I am not sure if this question has been asked before, if it has I apologize but I dont recall having seen it:

When filling the address and work history: let say my address A start 1 Apr 2017 and ends 31 Oct 2017 and then I move to address B on 1 Nov 2917. As the new form only has month and year and not days, is it ok that the address would look like this:

2017-11 till present Address A
2017-04 till 2017-10 Address B

The question here is does the jump from Oct to Nov sounds ok or it would be considered a gap in between? (And same question goes for work history when a job finishes in the last day of a month and the next one starts on the first day of the next month)
Imho this is correct. You lived at one place until October and another place since November. That's not a gap.

Thanks so much for all your help.

Yup. I put 2012 Oct to 2012 Aug instead of 2012 Oct to 2013 Oct.

Moreover, for other dates, I started with new month. For example:
2013 September to Nov 2013.
Dec 2013 to Jan 2014.

Didn't have any overlap.

@spyfy could you please answer this when u get the time..

1. In my wife's application- we filled up her employment details...during the course of her employment, her employer sponsored her for a Certificate and she completed it successfully. It involved her having to attend classes for 3 days for every course (6 courses in total) in campus, and she completed it in a year...(She is using that Certificate as Language proof).

Should she be mentioning this in Question 11 (what she was doing during her eligibility period). I am confused because there would be an overlap in dates between this and her employment. And also since completing this Certificate was not the primary use of her time (she was employed during that period).

Please advise if she should include this. (I am guessing if she includes this, then she should attach an explanation that she was working while she did this certificate).

2. This is an embarrassingly basic question- but i thought i would get it clarified nevertheless. My wife and I are applying together. So for it to be processed together we both have to individually complete our applications, include our supporting documents and payment receipts (i paid for both of us, so it's one receipt)- and include all of it in the same envelope.

Since it was in the same envelope- it would be processed together (like a family?)

Thanks a lot! KSA050 made me worried above! I think I need to take some time off from thinking what could have gone wrong with my application. Maybe a trip to Germany would help ;)

The safest thing to do (I did so) is to list both exactly according to the time you spent in your home country and in Canada. That way no one can accuse you of misrep.

See answers below:

1: If she is using this certificate as a proof of English proficiency then you should mention the period she was studying for this certificate. If she remained employed during this study period, it does not matter at all to have an overlap. You may also send a cover letter to clarify such overlap.

2. Yes, all family applications sent within the same envelop will be processed together, but if one applicant has a missing document or incomplete forms the whole package will be returned to your home address.

Wrong! Since when Toronto is a city of India? Please check your passport Bio Page. If it says place of issue: Toronto, then type: Place of issue Toronto, Country of Issue: Canada.

Do not mix cities and countries, some passports are issued at the diplomatic missions while others are issued in original countries. It is totally fina to say that an indian passport was issued at the consular office in Toronto (Place of Issue), Canada (Country of Issue).
Ok- Now I am back to square one. I was convinced that I need to write - Place of Issue- Toronto, and Country of Issue- India, since it is an Indian passport.
Sadly- my passport bio page only mentions Place of Issue and not Country of Issue, and I am racking my brains to figure out the right answer.
