Dependent delivered his Oct 4th

My passport has been delivered on October 6th. I'm really upset that those who has send it later has already got their passports back. But there's nothing I can do and just wait. My immigration consultant says it happens.

Where did you apply from? Within Canada or outside?

Hello everybody, I sent my passport on October 19th 2017 overnight, it was received on the 20th, but l still haven't got it back. I need to travel on the 14th of November. the return is next day air but it is not activate it and status on EE still submitted. I am anxious now

I applied on 19th too, and it was delivered on 20th. I have a flight booked for Nov 12.

You actually submit two piece of the photograph. One they keep (i think for their own records) and another is attached in the COPR that's mailed back for you. This is the one they use for the PR card I think. Many have been asked to resubmit photos again and based on what I have seen, it's because they do not meet the required specifications and normally are taken outside of Canada. They tell you halfway after you have done the landing process. Why they don't tell you when you send the photos in the first time I really dont know. If you want to learn more about this look at the thread that talks about PR card and many have shared their experience there.

Yeah one of the photos was attached to my COPR, the other was just in the pages of my passport. It was taken locally by a photographer who has been doing PR photos for years, so I'm sure they meet the standards. I'll see what they say when I do my landing tonight. Thanks anyway!

Hi do you mean they returned both? They should/normally take one. No wonder you are asking. I guess you can ask them when you do the landing.

Costco is the one recommended...they are cheap and know the specs.

Within Canada, I'm in Toronto, passport sent to Ottawa. No approval even at MyCIC. They say the proceeding time 2-9 weeks on this forum. Well it's been 4.5 for me

So did you sent your passport or just a copy? since you are applying from Canada.

That's unfortunate. I at least have the approval; but it's useless if they don't send the passport before this Thursday. I will have to miss my flight.
