Hi everyone:

I am very sorry if this questions has been asked a million times already, but I am very distracted with all the obligations and I thought it would be quicker to ask... Sorry if this thread is unnecessary and annoys you...

I have received my AOR recently and I would like to send 1 additional document, however, my ECAS has not yet been changed to IN PROCESS...

Should I wait until it has changed to IN PROCESS or is it safe to send it now since I already have my application number?

Also, I cannot seem to find the email or link or however they accept additional docs nowadays... I looked at the instruction guide and I suspect I should get a new prescription for my glasses cuz I cannot find it...

Can someone tell me HOW I am supposed to provide additional docs after AOR?

Many thanks to everyone...

what additional document(s)?

Dont do anything that can backfire at you, just provide those additional document (only if they ask).

If you received AOR you are very lucky which means you passed first test, NOW wait and respect their proccess no need to run marathon at them by acting as officer.

chill bro.

When and if they require new documents, they will send you an email and the email will give you specific instructions in how to contact CIC regarding documents

Exactly! We have answered the same many times, if your app is already in, wait until they request the documents from you. Rushing in and sending them won’t make your process faster or slower. Just send what you are asked for and then what they might ask from you later... BUT WAIT UNTIL KNOW IF THEY ACTUALLY REQUEST IT!

did you get letter for them requesting amendment(s), the address should be on that letter or email.

call them CIC and send it by registered mail if they tell you to send by mail which is what will happen as they dont accept documents by email yet.

Nobody asked me for any additional docs yet. I just got an AOR a few days ago.

The reason I wanna send it is because it has my original entry date to Canada corrected (it was wrong on my CoPR).

When I submitted my app I included a letter of explanation re: this issue, saying that I had applied to amend it, but had not received an amendment yet.

I called IRCC and tgey told me that one application does not prevent another and that I should apply for citizenship, but once they amended came, just to speed up the process (instead of them figuring it out) send it to them so that they hace proof you amended it, and they don't start checking something that has already been checked.

All is well now. I received my amendment. My original entry date has been corrected. Now all I wanna do is give them the amendment for my peace of my mind.

That's actually right. They corrected it on the system too, eh?

For some reason I thought about papers only.

That means they will already see the correct date on the system once they pull my info.

So I will probably not do anything then...

Exactly!!! At this point in time... whoever thinks that the officer goes only by pappers is lovining in a dream... even reports from CSIS & RCMP are all digital... whichever information you give them... im pretty sure they already know the truth... they track everyone with every agencie in the country and overseas... they typed a wrong info on one of my documents and it was same CIC. The ones that ammended it. So, dont even worry bro... a guy I know in Sydney todl me... we even have an estimation of how many and who was applying for citizenship with new bill C6 6 months before, so we got prepared.... everything with immigration is on a computer hard drive somewhere... the fact of sending. “Complete” application is a matter of protocol more than anything

Also, why did you need to send COPR? COPR is not even required based on the new document checklist. Did you apply under the previous 4/6 rule?

Call cic and ask them this question. They might be able to provide you with details as to where your application is being processed. They can provide you with address and or fax number.

i would agree with others. stay put now. if it comes to that, you will have a chance to send the amendment.

does the document you received have a date, like a date when it was sent? if yes, then you have evidence that it was received after you mailed your application. so you havent dont anything wrong (in case you need to prove it later).

I just wanted them to know that the Original Date on my COPR was wrong... They would have looked me up on the system and the wrong date would have come up. So I applied to correct it, and enclosed a copy of it [COPR] with a letter of explanation, so that there is no confusion. I highlighted the wrong date on a copy and included a copy of my very first Canadian entry stamp to show them that they (CBSA to be more precise) made a mistake...

In other words, I made it stupidproof for them to see when I really came to Canada... Now it has been amended on the system, so by the time my appliaction is in process (it is not yet as of now), they will see the change on the system for sure, but I also wanted to send them a paper copy of the amendment... I changed my mind however, there is only so much I can do... They will see it on the system if they want to double check it... I decided not to sweat it anymore... I have been living in streess for 7 years in Canada... There was not 1 day when I was not thinking about extending that study permit, applying for Post-Graduate work permit, applying for PR (God knows that took 5 years off my life span lol), and now applying for Citizenship... So if they somehow decide that I should not live here, maybe I should not live here, therefore, I decided to just stop worrying about it... :)
