@ Bill Hyatt,

Hi Bill,
I have submitted my online application but managed to get only 1 reference letter from 4 of my employers. The other three refused to provide reference letters, including my current manager of my firm. However i have provided other supporting documents as evidence of my employment.

Will this impact my application negatively ?

As far as my country is concerned license is not required to teach here, some teachers have B.Ed and some dont but it is not a mandatory. One can teach if he has studied particular subject or has expertise in it.

And I will provide authentic letter with roles and responsibilities I think then there should not be any problem. What do you think?
It may work but I would recommend searching forums for your NOC to get an idea of how other seniors or successful applicants presented their case.

Good Luck.

Hi Bill, thank you for your post.
I have a question, and would like to hear your comments.
I’m CIC inland applicant AOR May 19, my BG status change to IP2 on September 29. I called CIC on Oct 12th and again on Oct 24th, and both times were told that I passed all the tests and my application was waiting for a final decision; since then I haven’t heard of anything.
It’s been almost a month now, and I really thought that the final decision would come quicker. What do you think? Is there anything that you can think of may cause the delay of my final decision? Thank you so much!
It can take time for the final decision and some more after the file is approved. This is normal and is caused due to delay in processing of batches. Maybe CPC is working on other files before they start reviewing or finalising your file.

Good Luck.

Maybe IRCC will have to conduct some extra reviews or detailed analysis however they will probably not reject file straight away without giving you chance to explain your case.

Good Luck.

Thanks Bill,

Actually one of my employers have clearly stated that they do not issue reference letters with roles and responsibilities as a part of their policy on e-mail which i have attached in my application.
I found it very difficult to approach my current firm for a letter with roles and responsibilities including my manager as it would disclose the fact that i am applying for a PR and impact my career with the firm. Please guide me on the next steps here.

Just in case if IRCC requires the letter with roles and responsibilities to match my NOC declared, i am looking to be prepared.

Then you can write that on a plain paper by yourself and get it signed by someone senior to you and who is willing to help. Attach his employment details or business card, and get it notarized or whichever applies in your home country. Then, explain this situation in your LOE that why you were not able to get this job responsibility letters.

hi all
@BillHyatt , I've been asked an ADR (7 days deadline) : Family members information IMM5406
Problem is , I misspelled one of the names and figured it out after submitting ,
so I Immediately raised a CSE , explaining my mistake and uploading the corrected pdf file.

would this mistake negatively affect my application ?

It shouldn't be a problem just send them IMM5406 with correct spellings.

Actually I was tracking applications on e-tracker, and found 2 applicants with the same timeline as mine(same medical passed and IP2 date, same nationality as me and all May AOR), they both got their PPRs on Oct 5...I honestly thought that my file would be at the same batch as theirs.
Maybe my file was with their batch and got separated when transferring to an visa officer?

It is possible as files or maybe your file is approved but not updated by the analyst. You can call them to confirm the status or order GCMS notes to see what is causing delay.

I just received my GCMS notes this morning, at the top of the NOTES section, it reads"file ready for QA and final approval". Do you know what QA means? Maybe that's the reason for delay? Thank you!

Folks, I have full legal custody of my 5 year old who is a US citizen. Divorce happened in the USA 4 years back and the father continues to stay in the USA. We moved out of the USA. Though the father has visitation rights as per parental agreement, he has never visited nor is he in touch. Do I have to get NOC from the father of my child or will the Parental agreement suffice?
I would recommend you to do that just incase to be on safe side..

Hello guys,

My application got rejected today (EE, FSW). The reason cited was lack of funds (< $12,300). My question is, is there a way i can request a review of any kind?

The reason for asking for a review is that i believe that my career shift from date of receiving ITA to the date of rejection, might not have been updated on the system.

When i applied, i had no job at that time. Now, i do have a job and as of right now, i do have the necessary funds as well. Now when i moved my address (locally within Canada) on Sept. 1st 2017, i tried to enter these changes on the system. I'm not sure if those changes went through or not. So that's one reason why i am thinking if its possible to seek a review.

Anther reason is that this page, http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp, says that i dont even need proof of funs if i meet 2 conditions (which i do).

I'd love to hear from someone please. At this point of time, i'm a bit depressed as i think my only option is to reapply and wait another 6 months.

Please let me know what you guys think.

Thanks.

You moved on Sept 1st to Canada? Unless you have LMIA you wouldn't have a valid job offer at this point in time.
