Hi to jan applicants who recently recieved ppr did you guys get email from cpc ctd ottawa saying . Your application has been approved did you recieve your ready for visa letter by email?

They asked me to submit a renewed police clearance check from my home country. I did that in September 2016,

Sent my passport on Oct 12, have not received anything yet.

It takes about 3 weeks based on my observation.

Counterfoil numbers updated last night and showing up approved on my cic a/c,
Return tracker not activated yet.

agreed, it is difficult to understand why it takes them so long to put visa on the passports and mail them out.

Hi guys, I just got msg in my cic account that my file is approved and they generated counterfoil? BTW what is counterfoil? and when will I get my passport back after the counterfoil, any Idea?

hi, may i ask directly: why jan applicants gets ppr now? should it be much earlier? i mostly focus on APR-JUN tread, JUN applicants are getting PPR now. why JAN and JUN get PPR together at the same time? CIC is so slow?

Counterfoil is the VISA they stamped on your passport page

You can ask them but I don't think they are able to give you any solid answer

61 days according to IRCC processing time !! got mine after 58 days
