Hi Moed, someone in our whatsapp group reported that after he uploaded the documents and there was no change to his document status, he sent them a mail stating that he had submitted the document and wanted a feedback on his application. He got PPR two days after the mail. I advise that you do the same, send them a mail and also raise a CSE. If your documents status still reads that, it is possible they have not yet checked what you submitted. Act fast please.
Hi yweet. Thank you for the advice. Did that person specify which email address he used to communicate with them?

Guys, for those who just recently received ADR, how can I be sure CIC received them?

I got the request for ADR on October 30th, with a deadline of November 5th for submission. I provided the document on the same day of the request, October 30th, but until today the status of Additional Documents is "We need more documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with more details."

When I view my submitted application, I find the document I uploaded with a status of "Replacement Provided", while all the other documents I initially uploaded prior to AOR have a status of "Provided".
When u submit ADR, the status is "Replacement Provided" so, no need to worry.
My additional documents status is still" we need more documents" and I have submitted my passport for stamping. The additional documents status remains like that till when your passport is stamped, it will then change to "no documents required". You are very close to your PPR.

I've also same status on additional documents: we need more documents to continue processing your application since last time I submitted in August. Then there is no update... I also sent email but received standard reply and also said you need take no further action at this time.

Is there any difference in below 2 statements:
-We need additional documents to process your application.
-We need more documents to continue processing your application.
I had first when they asked first ADR and other when they asked 2nd ADR.

Hello friends

I would like to find out if resident status in a country affects Canada PR application. My tier 2 visa sponsor here in the UK lost his licence but my visa has not yet been curtailed for 10 months now. I've spent this time putting together my PR application and looking for a new sponsor which is difficult.
I'm 108 days since AOR and 43 days in London VO.

Anyone with clues?

Yes, residence status does affect PR application. Anyone who is illegally living in another country would certainly have their PR application refused. Anyone who has lived illegally /unsuccessfully claimed asylum in another country in the past would receive a lengthy scrutiny and thus have a prolonged processing period. In your own case however, your visa is still valid and you're not living illegally in the UK based on the information you have provided. You should relax and take this as just the usual random delays in LVO or any other VO for that matter.

Congratulations!! It’s great to get clarity in regards to why files are sent to London, it explains why the LVO might take a longer time than usual to process files. I tried to apply again to a US visa a month ago, but got stuck in administrative processing. That’s a temporary refusal until they finalize a background check. I admit now it wasn’t the smartest move I did given I’m in the Middle East, but I did it thinking it might speed things up with CIC if I send them an email that I applied again for a US Visa and got it this time. Unfortunately, there’s no timeline for administrative processing in the US consulate and it might take from a few days to years even. So now I’m basically stuck in background checks from both the US and Canada :p. I’m not sure if being in administrative processing by the US is something I’m required to inform CIC about or if I should wait until they send me their decision and then inform CIC...

Do you mind sharing your timelines?
No need to inform CIC, you must have applied for a tourist visa and that is fine as in your personal capacity you can travel across the globe and apply for visa for any where any time post you have submitted the application.
