questions:

i logged into my account and on the table it says beside medical check that we passed medical.
is that the only notification we receive? and does this mean they wont request any further documentation with regards to medical issues?

thank you (:

Yes, the only notification you will receive, and highly unlikely, unless the application spans a long enough length that the medical expires and you need to redo. Unlikely as you're an outland Irish application, or at least I'm assuming from your picture. If you have a straightforward app you shouldn't have to worry too much, although it's not uncommon for LVO to request additional documents (assuming you get transferred there)

yes we are outland couple in Ireland (im the sponsor and my husband the PA)

My husband who is my Sponsor living in Canada as a citizen has left Canada while our case is in process. There is no problem at all. The sponsor can travel anytime, if the PA is being sponsored from OUTSIDE Canada, then he/she can travel as well without any restrictions.

The key word there is citizens. It's true that sponsors who are Canadian citizens can travel freely. However, sponsors who are PRs MUST stay in Canada during the processing and cannot live elsewhere.

I think they say that I have to be here in Canada until the full process is completed ... is it true ??!
I'm sorry, people have been giving you a lot of misinformation. Assuming you are the sponsor... If you are a PR you must stay in Canada. If you are a citizen you are free to leave.

Got file transfered on 27th oct to NDVO.
file submitted 17th August
medical done 6th oct
sch a and photos submitted 13th oct.

Hi JAG. Thanks for sharing information. Can you please tell whether NVDO implies for New delhi visa office. If yes, please let us know when NVDO calls for your passport so thay you may know the time taken by visa office. Thanks

For the information of applicants, I am sharing the abbreviations which I know:

PA - principal applicant
AOR - Acknowledgment of Receipt
PRAS - permanent residence application status
SA - sponsership approval
BGC - background check
DM - decision made

Can someone in this thread explain the other abbreviations used in the threads so that we may know there meanings and full forms.

You cannot leave Canada even for 2 weeks? It’s my pa’s brothers wedding and I have to attend

Short trips are fine, you just can't live outside of Canada. I have read on this forum that trips up to 2 weeks and sometimes even 3 weeks are fine, but anything more than that is putting your application in peril.

I checked with my lawyers and they told me we can't apply until we get request from the federal government

We didn't get our request yet but the lawyer applied for CSQ herself on Oct 24 (AOR1 on Oct 7, sponsor on Oct 13). When was your sponsor approved and do you have an idea if we will receive an invitation to apply for CSQ?

I can't really know if that's ok that our lawyer applied for CSQ without invitation by CIC. I was wondering if our lawyer just didn't let us know that she received an invitation on our behalf. When did you receive sponsor approval?
