haha this is the irony of the luck, hope they won't start processing their applications before us! that would be really unfair even there is no fairness in their treatment, it's mainly random

I work for the Federal Government myself and there's no fair treatment and their service standards means nothing. The benefits we provide depends on the agent. Some of my colleagues spend all day drinking coffee and socializing while some of us complete as many work items as we can. This is true for all departments. CRA for example took 7 months to give me a reassessment for something that they said would take 8 weeks as a service standard.

The service standards are normally worded as 80% within X number of weeks. It sucks to be in the 20% (we were for the permanent residency processing). I think there tend to be more of the 20-percenters here because we start scouring the Internet for more information and wind up posting here looking for clues as to what might be going on. If things are going smoothly, there's less reason to inquire.

I havent yet received my AOR.. .not sure where my application lies... should I be worried? what are my next steps to do?

I also didn't receive an attachment on the email they sent. It makes us 3. you have to call them and request one by phone or complete their web form and ask them to resend it.
