hello members
i want to apply visitor visa for my parents from i india. dose any body know is this ok if i show finance in my account. if they have to show how much money they have to show in there account.

For TRVs, your parents must demonstrate they have adequate finances to support their visit except for depending on you for accommodation and local travel/living expenses. Your finances are secondary.

For their finances:
Their bank balances must match their declared sources of income (salary/business income, rental income, investments, etc).

Typically, (unwritten estimate) an applicant must have liquid funds (unlocked funds) of CAD 1,000 per week of visit per person + airfare

Thanks Bryanna, is this be specific in there account or it can be in joint account with my brother who is not accompanying with them.

Your parents provide their individual bank statements + the bank statement for the account owned jointly with your brother.

If your parents are unable to demonstrate adequate finances on their own, your brother must provide a Letter of Financial Support + his ITRs. Do ensure there are no last-minute, large deposits/borrowings from anyone/transfers from another bank account (the last one could include an explanation)
