You are applying for citizenship. Your child born in Canada is Canadian citizen by birth. IRCC is not interested in your child who is already a citizen
I think, I wasn't clear in my query. I know, my child is citizen by birth and he has Canadian Passport already. I was just wondering why IRCC is not interested to know how many children do I have? This application is purely on individual basis.

Sydney only does AOR. The vast majority of pre-Oct 11 applications is not in Sydney anymore. So they could either do nothing or deal with the new applications. I prefer the latter.
That's the point... AORs are being received by applicants who filed after Oct 12. Logically, it's supposed to be starting from the beginning of the month.
But once again... nobody knows how they process everything. So, it's miracle :)

Btw, Spyfy, have you applied? I'm sure, everyone (including me) from this forum cares and is thankful for your help ;-)

Because all applications are individual. You can have several children, and apply for citizenship for some, all, or none. For PR application it is different, for citizenship, family ties is not relevant, so they would not need that information

I just realized that I skipped the question 6 in the application form: (6.List all names that you have used, including name at birth, maiden name, previously married name(s), allias(es) and nicknames)

I should have put N/A! Do you think the immigration officer would send it back to me because of this silly mistake?

Please add to the sheet:

Personal application
City: Montreal
Days: 1500
Application was signed on Oct.13, 2017
Application sent Oct. 13, 2017
Application arrived on Oct. 16, 2017

This makes sense; thanks a lot.

Dear Fellows,

Apology if this has already been discussed. When I print the filled in application form, the information entered in tables especially in question 11 is not printed completely. The call width amd height are fixed and a small plus sign is also printed rather tham full text in some cells. Is it normal or there is a work around?

Oh no doubt about that, IRCC processing is a miracle. :)

I haven't applied yet, in fact due to frequent travels I won't be eligible until late January.

Once it's my time to apply, I'll let y'all know in case I have questions :)

Thanks for your nice words!

Agents must have been assigned equal amount of workload. The only explanation is the individual's pace of doing their work.
Yeah but do you guys also think that if some application are really straight forward they are getting the AOR faster than the one not straight forward? I was also thinking that I did not get AOR yet because I must have made some silly mistake and the reason why the officer put my file away to review it later? Just a thought!

Yes, but I don't think that many people would have made silly mistakes. CIC is notorious for this sporadic way of processing cases. I remember how a guy that had DUI got his PR faster than myself with no issues with any law and we submitted the same time.

Hi @spyfy, help needed, I realized I made 2 mistakes on my form
1. Forgot to print my name on the back of the pictures
2. Did not filled the CIT0177 (I had lived outside CA for longer than 183 days but not as a Crown Servant)

Does my application stands a chance OR will be returned?

Thank you in advance :)
