I would think it'll be ok, it's just a checklist. But then again, if your application happens to land with some pissy officer, they can return it. Will have to wait and see.Hi Guys,
A question, does it matter if the document checklist in the application refers to 08-2017 instead of 10-2107, it essentially has the same things? and I have included all the supporting documents
When i applied on 13th Oct made double sure to download the right document checklist from 10-2017 but at that time it seemed to be it was not available. the application has already reached anyways but just wanted to know for peace of mind
Hope fully that doesnt happenI would think it'll be ok, it's just a checklist. But then again, if your application happens to land with some pissy officer, they can return it. Will have to wait and see.
It's asked in Instruction/Guide. Must include.Am I blind or the document checklist is not asking for copies of either PR card nor PR confirmation letter?
Is it okay if I include them anyway?
Now its out of your hand , its better to ask IRCC how to include.I think I may have mis-understood a question and it is giving me headache. Question 13, which ask about immigration or citizenship status in any other country, including country of birth. I was in the USA on a one year work visa 10 years ago, but I was not a permanent resident or citizen of the US.
I think I should have included that info in answering ques 13, but I didn't. Will it be detrimental? How do I fix this omission? My application was just delivered by Canada post 2 days ago. HELP!!
@crystalyue, his visa was a work visa, so it counts as immigration status in another Country. He should have included it in his application. It doesn't matter that it's expired.Your expired Visa does not count as status in another country, so you have nothing to worry about.
My mistake, I guess I made the same mistake on my application :/@crystalyue, his visa was a work visa, so it counts as immigration status in another Country. He should have included it in his application. It doesn't matter that it's expired.
Instruction guide does not ask for those documents. You are incorrect! It's asked in Instruction/Guide. Must include.

You are still incorrect. That section of the guide simply lists the types of immigration documents you can get your UCI # from. It doesn't say you should include them. In any case, with your UCI number, they can access all that.http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/CIT0002ETOC.asp#Step4
- "Tell us which countries you have held status in, and exactly what status you held or currently hold (student, employment/worker, refugee/protected person, permanent resident or citizen)."
I think they mean the requirement of PR card or PR confirmation letter that aren't on the checklist or instruction guide anymore.http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/CIT0002ETOC.asp#Step4
