Hey Guys,

Just a few trends I noticed and would like to share with everyone. (P.S It might not be applicable in all cases)

1. When you order GCMS notes, it will trigger your documents section when it is generated. Either your documents section changes to no ADR or it changes to we need more ADR.

2. Not everyone gets the typical IP1 message after medical passed (Your application is in progress..we will contact you we start background check).
Some people get the "IP2" message. (Your BGC is in progress. We will contact you if we need more information). Regardless of whatver the status says..if you got it right after medicals passed..it is still IP1.

3. If you got the typical IP1 message then you will move to NA2 and then IP2 and then PPR. Sometimes it's possible to have NA2 and IP2 same day. So if you don't check frequently you might not see when it was NA2.

4. If you got the IP2 wording right after medicals passed, then there are three possible scenarios to know when you are actually in IP2. The wording of BGC status will NOT change as you already have the final stage wording but these few tricks can let you know when you are actually in IP2

A. Your ADR might change to not needed and you will notice it says "updated" when you log in. (Your BGC wording will not change as you already have the last stage wording.) This will signify you are in actual IP2 and you can expect PPR in average of 6 days after this.

B. When you log in to account , you see "updated" but nothing has changed. You are now in actual IP2 . You can expect PPR in average of 6 days

C. For some people they get asked for ADR..so there BGC status changes to NA2. For this scenario, once it changes back to IP2 wording then you are in actual IP2 and can expect PPR in average of 6 days.

The above tips and tricks might not be applicable to all cases as some people's IP2 take longer due to security screening. I hope this is helpful guys. Please add to this if you have noticed a different process! Any hint is better than no hint at all!

Ok awesome

HEY TOMI
the due date on latest GCMS is Oct 24th.... ive been reading that security checks take months?!
I saw this link but its for urgent security screening and it says 3-5 days... they did ask for ADR family information document so it could be for security screening purposes?? Im just so confused. Im not worried about securiry screening, never been in trouble with the Law nor has my family..... is security screening and BG checks the same???

So does it actually say security screening in your notes?

If so, copied links:

1)
"According to my notes, which i received today, there is one alarming thing: Under security, i have another sub-activity with the name ofsecurity screening going on. In activities section, this sub-activity has three entries (all redacted) along with the usual security stuff.

I have googled it and found very few cases with this sort of security check, and those who have it in their notes have been wating or had to wait for a year before they got hold of the PPR."

2)

"My husband`s security status is: security screening is it the status that everybody is afraid of? and the one that can take quite long to process?"

"If it is SS, then yes."

Hi All,

Below is my application timeline :

ITA - 5th April 2017
AOR - 22nd June 2017
RCMP Request - 30th Aug 2017
RCMP Letter upload - 6th Oct 2017
Medicals Request - 20th Oct 2017

I had done my medicals upfront on 29th May 2017 at Fortis, Bengaluru.. All this while the status of medicals showed "Reviewing results of your medical exam". On 20th Oct 2017 - I received request letter from CIC saying "We have not received all of the results of your medical examination. Please contact the Panel Physician who conducted your medical examination to ensure all required tests were completed and that there are no outstanding requirements left to complete."

I enquired with my Panel Physician and they say they have submitted all the results on 17th June 2017 itself and there is no option to re-submit or no request for additional medicals request. I too don't have any option to upload or explain my scenario in my application to CIC.

Please help.

Thanks in advance.
