I have my flight on Nov 10, I don’t think even if i get the passport request now, i should dispatch it to cpp ottawa, any suggestions plz?

Better reschedule the date of your flight, these people are crazy

I sent my passport on Oct 6, called them today (Oct 19) and they said they don't even know if my passport was received is that normal? It should have arrived there Oct 14 latest. They also said it takes 3 weeks to stamp the visa once the passport is recieved. I have a flight scheduled Nov 4th and they said I probably won't make it . Anyone sent their passports around the same time?

You probably won't make it. Need to reschedule. I applied Sept 26 and got my passport request Oct 4th.

I sent my passport on Oct 6, called them today (Oct 19) and they said they don't even know if my passport was received is that normal? It should have arrived there Oct 14 latest. They also said it takes 3 weeks to stamp the visa once the passport is recieved. I have a flight scheduled Nov 4th and they said I probably won't make it . lol.. when i called they said 2 weeks. Now it's changed to 3 weeks. Well you must have used xpresspost or priority post. And yes i think chances are quite slim but wait till the end of october.

I know, weird...I was surprised to hear 3 weeks! I used ordinary post to send my passport there - that was my mistake (I thought it would take a few days to stamp anyways). Now I'm worried they didn't even receive it. They guy told me that they are slow to update actual status.

Yeah ... it's surprising... And you even didn't include empty expresspost for the return back. You need to wait atleast month according to the speed they are going. May be very soon they will shift from 3 to 4 weeks.
Last year they took just 4 days to send back me the passport.

Don't dispatch ur document/passport until you receive that approval letter or passport request letter!

I don't have tracking so I don't know when my passport arrived I saw other people on this forum got their stamps in 13-14days.. so I'm still hoping I get lucky
