PCC from India, currently living in Canada

Hello Everyone.
I have a question for my friend who has sent her passport to BLS Canada for PCC. She has stated multiple addresses in India where all she had lived. My quick questions are:
1. How long will PCC take? She sent her passport to BLS on 18/oct/2017
2. Will the passport be sent over to India from Canada for the PCC ? She needs the passport in December as she will have to be travelling to the USA from Canada.

1. They should have given a turnaround time for the process. Nobody else would be able to tell you how long it will take. PCC procedure varies from individual to individual and places to places.
2. No, they will not send the passport physically over to India. They will send scans to the relevant authorities. If she needs the passport back for urgent travel, I am sure she can ask for it. Most authorities respect any such request.

you will get the passport in 1 week , it goes to Toronto consulate and sent back to BLS..
