Anyone ? Plz help
One Quick check about police clearance certificate.

183 or more days spend in last 4 years immediately before the date of application.

I signed my application on 05 Sept 2017 .

So if I count 4 years back from 2017/sept /05 to 2013/sept /05 . I came back to Canada in aug 11 ,2013 since than I never been out of Canada for more than 183 days. Do they still ask for pcc ?

I got my AOR already. I am not sure on this requirement ...can anyone help me on understanding it ?

Thanks

Any Update from anyone for Missauga office. Is it still on vacation? Or we have to wait for 5 years (should have been 3 in the first place) to get citizenship.

They will not ask for PCC if you have not lived at a strectch outside the country for 183 days in any one country. Which means if you stayed in any one country for more than 183 days then you need a PCC from that country. If you have lived outside for 183 days and lived like few months in different countries then you do not have to get a PCC.

Thanks for reply.
As per CIC : 183 or more days spend in last 4 years immediately before the date of application

I signed on Sept 05,2017 ...so if i go back to 4 years from it than it should be 04-Sept 2013. Between 04 Sept 2013 to 05 Sept 2017 i never been outside of canada for more than 183 days.

Why i am confused here is I left canada in Nov 2011 and came back in Aug-2013. so in 2013 Jan to Aug 2013 i was outside of canada. But as per CIC last 4 years immediately before the date of application i was not.

I mentioned this in details for better understanding of my scenario and get correct answer.

Do i still need to provide PCC or CIC will ask ?

Thanks

I was in a similar situation and went with exactly what the instructions said, i.e., 183 or more days spend in last 4 years immediately before the date of application.

Didn't attach any PCC and the processing went ahead as in a normal situation. Just make sure you do not submit / sign the application on / at a very close date. Keep some reasonable buffer on top of the 4 years - even if u haven't left for one single day. Definition of a "reasonable buffer", as mentioned by experts like Dpenabill on this/other threads, is abt 6-8 weeks. I personally, opted to wait for about 3.5 months.
